Horrible, self indulgent, wanky music.

One of the pics from camera I was in charge of. Don't know why they are selling a shot with no band members in it, maybe Rush bought the others, they liked to control images of the band. You must be in the audience. They turned the lights up specially to get the shot. Was meant to be a back cover pic, don't know if they used it.

I was onstage with them during the encore at one of those Hammersmith gigs. There was a camera gaffa taped to a speaker cabinet behind Neil's kit, I had to keep changing the film backs and reload them, also try and stop the speaker from rocking. A mad night. Worked with them a few times on location and in the studio. Lovely blokes.

Far too many memories but your assessment may just be correct.
This was the setlist the first time I saw them. Yes, it was unbelievable.

Saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon in 79 when they toured the Hemispheres album, I was just a kid but was blown away by the musicianship. The loss of Peart a few years back was a tragedy, he was truly one of the greatest drummers ever to bang the skins. The lead break on La Villa Strangiato still remains my favourite bit of guitar work of all time, superb. Love em.
